Controller

Hosting and access logs

This website is hosted by Railway Corp. (USA) in its EU region (data centre in the Netherlands); the transfer is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. When you visit, the server records your IP address, time of access, page requested, browser and referring page in access logs — for operational security and error analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The logs are deleted after a short time.

Contact and demo form

Data processed: name, company, email, telephone (optional), industry, team size, message. Purpose: arranging an appointment and answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps). Your details are sent from our server by email to our mailbox; for delivery we use Resend Inc. (USA, EU-US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by standard contractual clauses). You receive a confirmation of receipt at the address you provide. To prevent abuse, the server keeps your IP address for a short time. Deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, at the latest after 12 months.

Cookies and local storage

Strictly necessary and without consent: the sign-in page remembers the business identifier you chose, and the website remembers your decision in the consent banner (key “pangea.consent” with a date) – both in your browser's local storage, without transmission to us (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). We only set analytics cookies if you choose “Accept all” in the banner (see next section). We do not set advertising cookies.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure which pages are visited, how visitors reach the website (e.g. via a search engine) and whether an enquiry has been submitted through the demo or contact form – without your entries. Google Analytics is loaded via Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data processed: device and browser details, approximate location (derived from the IP address; according to Google, IP addresses of users in the EU are not stored), pages visited, times and a pseudonymous identifier in the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_…” (lifetime up to 2 years). A transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible; it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months; Google Signals and advertising features are switched off. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without consent, the website loads neither Tag Manager nor Google Analytics. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page; the analytics cookies are then deleted.

External content

Fonts, images and scripts are loaded from our own server. The website only loads third-party content with your consent (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, see above).

Signing in to the application

The “Sign in” link takes you to your business's own application at its own address (identifier.pangea-software.de). Processing there is governed by the contract with your business and the data processing agreement.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the one responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

Data processing on our customers' behalf

For customers, the data processing agreement and the technical and organisational measures at /vertrag/anlage-4/ and /vertrag/anlage-5/ apply; the sub-processors are listed at /vertrag/anlage-6/.
